How to Specify a Precast Wall Panel Line
The eight numbers that decide whether a precast wall panel line fits your site, your labour plan and your order book.

Specifying a wall panel line starts with the panel itself. Fix the length, width and thickness range before comparing equipment: a 3 m × 600 mm panel in 90-150 mm hollow core thickness sets the mould, curing and handling requirements for everything downstream.
Next, size the building. A typical line needs 50 m × 40 m in total, with 50 m × 15 m for equipment and 40 m × 20 m for the curing room, across two workshop spans of at least 20 m with eaves height of 6 m or more.
Then check power and labour. A well-engineered line averages 45 kW or less across the whole plant and runs with 3-5 operators per shift. If a quotation assumes double that headcount, the automation scope is thinner than it appears.
Finally, model output against your order book. At 3.3 m/min extrusion the line produces 144-198 m² per hour, or roughly 500,000 m² per year. Compare that against committed projects before adding capacity.
